PONGAL CELEBRATIONS

This is to inform students that a Pre-Pongal Celebrations are going to
be held in LITAM campus on 12-1-2013.Stude­nts who are interested in
any of the events listed below can participate.

2. Flying Kites - we have to get our own kites :P so get some good designs.
3. Cultural dress - Boys buy Pancha , salwars and girls asusual come
dressed in sarees.
4. Folk Songs - Janapadha geethalu
5. Food Court - Get some aresalu,chakalu ­,chekaralu :D
6. Games - Volleyball,Kaba ­di,Tugof war
Apart from this Our NSS Team is going to celebrate on the occasion of
Swamy Vivekananda Birthday and National Youth Day by conducting
Elocution on"Awake Arise and Stop not till the Goal is Reached"
So interested candidates please do register with the respective organizers.

PGECET Eligibility Criteria

1. The students should be a citizen of India.

2. The students should possess a bachelor degree of any discipline to appear for PGECET.

3. No admission for other country students. The NRI students also cannot be able to apply for PGECET.

4. The students should have Andhra Pradesh as their residential address.

5. The admission procedure has to be followed strictly by the students.

6. General category students should possess a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Qualifying examination.

7. For reserved category students there is a relaxation of 5% marks. that is they should posses a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in their qualifying examination.

 

POST GRADUATE ENGINEERING COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (PGECET)

The Osmaina University is considered to be one of the well known universities in Andhra Pradesh is organizing this exam on behalf of  Andhra Pradesh State council of Higher education (APSCHE). This exam is organized to admit graduates in PG courses across Andhra Pradesh College. The residents of other states can also write this exam, but their admission will be based upon the norms under National Integration quota.

The applications will be issued from April in Osmania University & other various universities across Andhra Pradesh till first week of May. The application can be availed online by logging into the link www.osmania.ac.in or www.apschepgecet.net.The cost of application is Rs.80/- application, kindly note that for 1 application the applicant can avail maximum of 4 subjects. The duly filled supplications must reach concern office on or before mid week of May. The exam will be conducted in June across Andhra Pradesh.

 

The exam will be conducted for a total mark of 120 marks and the questions asked in the examination will be of objective type. The exam is partitioned various paper. The duration for each paper is 120 minutes.
